Rollin Rollin Rollin...

Now that Eli has started rolling over, the second we set him on the floor he flips over! He is just flopping around like a little fish. He is good at going from his back to his tummy, but has not quite figured out how to go from his tummy back to his back. He will get on his tummy and then basically spin in a circle trying to flip back over. Sometimes he gets really frustrated, but I have been leaving him on his tummy some more to get used to it and realize he doesn't have to freak out. Otherwise I will do nothing all day except flip him over constantly! A few posts ago I said that his first few nights sleeping unswaddled had been great. Well, last night was a little more difficult. The first few nights he wasn't flipping over when we put him in his crib to sleep, but last night was another story. He woke up a few times after having flipped onto his tummy. After flipping him back over and trying to calm him back down at 10:30 pm, 12:00 am, 3:00 am, and 3:30am, I decided that he could sleep the rest of the night in the swing and we could practice tummy sleeping more in the morning. :) I am proud to report that currently, he is taking his first nap on his tummy and is sleeping very soundly! Hopefully this continues and tonight goes a little better. :) Here are some pics of my rolling boy...

  2. Cute, cute, cute!! What a big boy!! We had to start the cry it out method when that started happening. Worked like a charm, but man it is not easy while you are in the middle of it!
