Discovering Toys

Elijah has started to get better hand coordination and is really starting to enjoy playing with his toys. He has a whole basket full of rattles and neat little chew toys, but in the past when I took them out he wasn't quite ready and they just sat there on his chest. Now he loves to grab then, shake them around, and of course his favorite thing- put them in his mouth. Here are a few pictures from our morning play time the other day.


Above: It is not enough to have his rattle in one hand, he wanted to have both hands full so he was grabbing the blanket with his other free hand. He has quite the grip.

Above: Elijah rolled over onto his tummy, but wanted to take his toy with him. Now he is playing with his rattle on his tummy and he is talking away in this picture.
