Eli the Explorer

Elijah is exactly 8 months old today! My how the time has flown by. I am having so much fun with our little man and it really does just get better and better as the days go by...and it was pretty great to start with! In this last month, Eli has really started to explore. He is now completely into climbing! He pulls up on EVERYTHING. Here are a few of him exploring around the house. Looks like it is time to babyproof (if there is such a thing). :)

Also at my parent's house, Elijah loved playing with the Nativity scene in the game room.  His favorite were the sheep, which he enjoyed chewing on, and the Baby Jesus, which he enjoyed banging on the table.  We had to tell him to be gentle with Baby Jesus. :)

Just got out of his stroller after a nice walk.  The little guy poses for a quick pic and is ready to go explore.

"Hmmm, let's see.  What fun things are there to do around here?"

Isn't that a guilty face!  Elijah was having a great time with the magazines in the bathroom, ripping out the pages and then chewing on them.  Now we know how they came up with the name "Reader's Digest". ;) 

Back at the Dog bowl.  He is particularly interested in the water and likes to watch his hand as he puts it in the bowl of water.  Boomerang doesn't seem to mind...he says it adds good flavor to the water.
