December (and January) in a Dish...courtesy of Paula :)

Go figure, it seems that having an almost 3 year old who is hit or miss on naps and being 7 months pregnant is not the best set up for having a well updated blog.  I acknowledge that our blog has fallen sorely neglected, and I'm afraid with our newest little one coming at the end of March it seems that it may potentially only get more so.  But, I will do my best to keep it updated every now and again.  So, in one massive post, here are pictures from December and January.  We were blessed to have a wonderful Christmas and New Year spent with family.  We are also blessed with great friends and just the fun everyday memories we make on a regular basis.  So, without further ado, here are our most recent pictures, hope you enjoy them!

Pictures with Santa at Bass Pro Shops

We went to Bass Pro for Eli's annual picture with Santa.  Unfortunately we showed up in the morning and soon discovered Santa wasn't there until later in the afternoon.  We stayed and played for a while and came back later for a picture with Santa.

Like mother, NOT like son

Sweet Ride!  Eli didn't want to get on the carosel, but he loved this...such a man. :)

Checking out Santa's workshop

"Where is Santa?"

Later that day we came back and got Eli's picture made with Santa.  Eli was pretty excited, and while the picture didn't come out great it was a good experience.  He certainly enjoyed it more than last year, for those of you who remember last years pic. :)

The official picture...mediocre results but a fun time!

Christmas in Tyler

This year we went to Tyler where Ethan's extended family all met up at the Kamps' house.  We had a great time celebrating the season with the whole gang!

Christmas in Shreveport

Shooting some hoops before heading over to Shreveport.  I picked out the bottom layer of Eli's outfit for him to wear (khaki pants and long sleeve shirt) and he picked out the top layer (basketball outfit). I guess layered is in.  :)

Eli's trike from my parents!

He loves it and it has been officially named the Red Rocket, just like Papa used to have when he was a kid.

Couldn't have a trip to SA without a little IPAD time on Papa's lap :)

  1. The only reason I've been as current on our blog as I have been is committing to having a monthly update for each kid. Sometimes I get behind, but it at least gives me a place to start. So excited to meet the new little one in a few months!
