1. Karis is definitely into finger foods and super excited about eating! Unlike her big bro, she loves avocado. :) Other favorites include black beans, bananas, peaches, pears, Cheerios, and this morning for breakfast she ate a whole ate if quinoa and blueberries! Basically, she loves everything we give her and is ready for more. :)
She got a spoon from Mamie that is supposed to help babies learn to feed themselves. It works! Karis loves to feed herself with her own spoon.
So glad my little sweetie is a great eater. Thus far she has not been picky at all and has willingly eaten all of the healthy food I set in front of her. This makes mommy so glad!
2. Karis and Eli are really beginning to play together. This is so sweet to watch! I pray that these two will be lifelong friends.
Playing on Eli's bed just before bath and bedtime. Her shirt was taken off due to dinner messiness. :-)
Karis is going to go ahead and brush her own teeth. :-)
A few nights ago I was about to put Karis to bed. I told Eli to give her a kiss and tell her good night. He said "aww, don't put her to bed yet, I want to play with Karis a little bit longer!" It was so sweet that I let her stay up and play with her big brother a little bit longer.
Playing playing playing, a favorite past time
Karis wanting to go and run with the big kids at the park. Don't mind part of my finger in the corner. :-)
3. Karis has transitioned from army crawling to a full crawling. She is getting quick!

5. Karis is becoming very verbal. She says mama often and a lot of other babbling sounds. Ethan is working on dada. :) I have noticed her making sounds a lot to try to catch our attention. For example, she will stare right at Ethan or Eli and make noises until they look her way. When they do look at her she grins and giggles and is so excited that she has gotten their attention!
That's all for now. We sure love this little girl and are so blessed that she has been in our life for nearly 10 months now. Thanks for enjoying her with us!
