There has been a whirlwind of excitement in the Cislaghi household for the past few weeks. Karis Anne Cislaghi came to join our family on Thursday, March 28th, 2013. She was born at 2:44pm weighing in at 8lbs 8oz and measuring 20in long. We are so thankful to the Lord for a safe and healthy delivery for Mom and baby and that our precious little girl is healthy and thriving thus far in her 15 days of life!
Big brother Eli, who celebrated his 3rd birthday on April 7th, has been wonderful with his baby sister Karis! He is very loving and affectionate with her, always giving her sweet kisses on the head and holding her hand. So far, the transition from 1 to 2 kids has been a relatively smooth one, and we know that all credit and praise for this goes to our Gracious and Good God! We have been abundantly blessed with this precious family and give all honor and glory to our Heavenly Father, the Giver of every good and perfect gift!

Love this...Eli looking out for his baby sister already. :) |
|
After Karis was born, we brought Eli back to the delivery room to meet his baby sister before she went to the nursery for her bath and exam. It was a special time to spend together...our first hour as a family of four. Eli was grinning from ear to ear and was so excited to finally see his baby sister that we'd waited for to arrive for so long. He gave her a sweet kiss and has been so loving and affectionate with his little sister! |

Kite Flying!
|
This next sequence of pictures is from Eli's first time out to fly a kite. It was a gorgeous, windy Saturday and we decided it would be a great day to go fly a kite. I had bought a cheap Walmart kite a while back that had gotten sufficiently tangled up around the house. We spend a while untangling the great tail knot, but then had a fun time flying the kite! |

It's up! |

Eli's 3rd Birthday!!

We had Eli's birthday party in the middle of March, but still wanted to do a little something special for Eli's actual birthday. Donuts before church hit the spot...Eli loved it! |
